Stamping Space

In an earlier post (click here to see) I showed you my stamping space in my apartment. Now that I'm home for the summer I've had to reorganize my things and I finally have it just the way I want it. My best friend wanted to get rid of a bookcase she had in the guest bedroom because that bedroom will soon be turned into the baby's room. I gladly accepted the bookcase because I thought it would be perfect to organize all of my stamping items.
Thanks for looking! I've got to go finish setting up for my Garden Greetings Stamp a Stack that I am hosting tonight.

This is a tri-fold card I made for my high school English teacher. She's struggling with ovarian cancer and has been having some rough days. I'm hoping this bright and cheery card will bring a smile to her face. Feel better Mrs. Rittierodt!!
I got the idea for this card from Roxy who got the idea from Lene.

Ink: Black Stazon
Paper: Kraft, Pink Flamingo DSP, Real Red
Accessories: Big Shot Flowers from Birds and Blossoms

Be sure to check back tomorrow, I've been reorganizing my stamping space and I can't wait to share it with you!

Hey Lucky!

My dad always says, "Hey Lucky!" and when you ask him why you're lucky he'll say, "Because you're lucky to know me." I think he's right. These are the three cards I made for my dad for his special day. The one on the left is from me, the middle one will be from my mom, and the one on the right will be from my brother. He's a pretty special guy so I think he deserves all three. :) Love you dad!

Gift Bag

I made this cute little bag using my Big Shot! I should have taken a picture from the side, but I forgot. I bought a small sandwich bag and cut off the top, then I sandwiched it in between two pieces of River Rock cardstock, next I layered some designer series paper over the top of it the cardstock and to finish it off I added some ribbon. Inside I have an incentive stamp and an ink spot. I made about 4 of these bags and plan to give them out either as door prizes or to a new stamp camp attendee.
I am addicted to making these little bags! They are the perfect size to give a little gift to someone to let them know you are thinking of them.

Stamps: N/A
Ink: N/A

Accessories: Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot, Top Note Die, small sandwich bag

I'm back!

Ok, I've been home for a couple weeks now, but between my garage sale, stamp camps, and life in general I haven't had the time or energy to post, but I'm hoping to get back on track and start posting every day again. We'll see how it goes...

I have an exciting new addition to my stamping tools, my mom and dad bought me a Big Shot!! I've been having lots and lots of fun playing around with it and as the weeks go by I plan on showing you some of the fun things I've been making with my new "toy". Yesterday my cousin came over and we made Stampin' Up! Color Reference Charts with the Big Shot. One of the great things about the Big Shot is that it is manual, you don't need to be near an outlet or make sure the battery is charged, you can take it ANYWHERE! The weather has been so lovely here in the Pacific Northwest so we took the Big Shot out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful day.
Recipe:
Stamps: N/A
Ink: N/A
Paper: All 48 colors from Bold Brights, Earth Elements, Rich Regals, and Soft Subtles, also Kraft, Basic Black, Going Gray, Basic Gray, and Sahara Sand.
Accessories: Big Shot and Stampin' Up! Top Note

I cut out the color charts out of an old catalog I had and glued them to the bottom of each chart so that I would know which color was which on the charts.
